Donations

We welcome contributions from individuals and organisations. If you would like to support the work of the LATA Foundation, it is simple and easy to do so:

By text: To donate £1 - £5 or for a single donation of £10 you can now make a donation by SMS text message. This service works with all UK mobile phone providers.

General Funds text:   LATA12 £x    to 70070

Tree planting Peru:   PLNT05 £x     to 70070 (a donation of £3 plants 5 trees)

Nicaragua Water:     WATR12 £x    to 70070

Dental project:         DNTL12 £x    to 70070

Childen Colombia:    CHLD12 £x    to 70070

Guatemala project:   GUAT12 £x     to 70070

Examples: To donate £5 to general funds text LATA12 £5 to 70070.

Please note: You will be given a link inviting you to register your donation for Gift Aid which will allow us to reclaim tax on your donation (resident UK tax payers only). You will be automatically sent one reminder about this otherwise you won't be disturbed again.      

Online donations: On our justgiving link you can make a one-off single donation or you can set up a monthly direct debit if you prefer. 

If you wish to adopt a turtle or would like to support a particular project, such as reforestation or to help children in Latin America please leave a comment  when prompted to do so or send us an e-mail to info@latafoundation.org.

GIFT AID:    If you are a UK taxpayer it would help us further if you can Gift Aid your contribution. This is easy to do online but if you are paying by cheque we would be grateful if you could complete and return a copy of the Gift Aid form.

Please Note: Please remember that all donations go directly to our projects. We don't have any office expenses and all our staff are volunteers. Our Justgiving fees, costs of bank transfers and minor ancilliary expenses are covered thanks to the support of the Latin America Travel Association.
