An evening with Philippa Vernon-Powell of New Life Mexico - 3 Oct.
The LATA Foundation was delighted to spend an evening with Philippa
Vernon-Powell of New Life Mexico as we are currently supporting two of her
projects - we provided some sewing machines for a new sewing school and have
sponsored a water-house, one of 15 that New Life Mexico has constructed
since 2010.

Inauguration of Sewing School April 2011
We were introduced to New Life Mexico by Isabelle Mazille from Journey Latin
America which is a good example of the travel industry helping us to
identify, publicise and support good projects throughout the region of Latin
America.
New Life Mexico has an excellent track record of achievement. We are
currently looking in to follow up projects and are proud to be supporting
their work. Philippa herself is a remarkable person who is doing
exceptional and inspirational work. Many thanks to her.
Thank you very much to all who came along to support the evening and
especially a very big thank you to Simonetta and Avi who hosted the event at
their wonderful restaurant Ida, giving New Life Mexico a very generous
donation, and to chef Giacomo who created such a special and delicious menu
for us on the night.
