Galapagos Laptop and Projector appeal

We recently appealed for a laptop, projector and educational materials to support the New Era Galapagos Foundation.

This school provides extra-curricular educational classes for 100 youths and around 20 adults in San Cristobal. The school has an emphasis on conservation, social development and language skills. Some of their former pupils are now working as tourists guides. 

We were introduced to New Era Galapagos Foundation by Doris Welsh of Ecoventura.

In response to our appeal, Ecuadorian Tours have kindly donated and delivered a laptop and the Fundación Galápagos in conjunction with Metropolitan Touring have agreed to provide educational materials and have already delivered a projector. The Fundación Galápagos is supported by a number of boat operators.
