Adopt a Turtle

There are 5 types of turtle in Venezuela: hawksbill and leatherback turtles are both on the World Conservation Union critically endangered list; green, loggerhead and Olive Ridley turtles are endangered. Guatemala Natural Cosmetics

As Green as it Gets have asked for £2180 for product development and further equipment. The LATA Foundation is sending £750 immediately and is appealing for £1430 to provide additional equipment for this project in Guatemala producing natural cosmetics. Read more >>

Reforestation in Peru

The LATA Foundation is planting 8,000 trees in Peru this year and we are actively appealing to supporters, travel companies and organizations dealing with Peru to help us plant more. Read more >>

Providing Clean Water in Nicaragua

The LATA Foundation is providing a mile of water pipes and is appealing for support to fund two more miles of pipes for this project to supply clear water to a community of over 1,000 people near Granada.  Read more >>

Argentina Dental Care

The Sonrisa dental clinics supported by the LATA Foundation have provided over 40,000 treatments to more than 5,000 children over the last couple of years. Read more >>

Sewing School in Mexico

The LATA Foundation has purchased 12 sewing machines to set up a new sewing school in Puerto Vallarta. The school opened in April 2011. Read more >>

Threads of Peru

The LATA Foundation is pleased to be supporting Threads of Peru on community weaving projects in remote communities in the Andes. Threads of Peru has been working with women to plan, make and sell hand woven weavings to the wider market, thereby increasing their income and quality of life.  Read more >>

Conservation in the Galapagos

New Era Galapagos Foundation

The New Era Galapagos Foundation provides not-for-profit extra-curricular educational classes for 100 youths and around 20 adults living in San Cristóbal. The New Era Galapagos Foundation has been operating for 14 years and has an emphasis on conservation, social development and language teaching for the purpose of maximising employment prospects. Mexico Drinking Fountain

We are proud to support the work of New Life Mexico in helping to provide clean water in Puerto Vallarta. In March 2011 we funded the construction of a water house in a secure location outside a medical clinic in Puerto Vallarta. Read more >>

ChildHope in Peru
